DescriptionThis hut was constructed by Park staff during the winter of 1986. The building design incorporated the the 1913 hut - at far left of the picture. In February 1987 the buildings were engulfed by a debris flow from Foam Creek. The 1931 component was destroyed but the newly build hut survived to be relocated upstream adjacent to the hot spring and beyond the reach of further floods from Foam Creek.
