      5th Sep 2026 4:13PMWhen I was a Relieving Ranger in Head Office one day the discussion about sending Rangers to Antarctica was raised. John was a very strong supporter, explaining to me that we might get a Park or Reserve down there one day, which would be administered by his office. He wanted as many rangers to go through to Antarctica as possible.
