At one stage we had one of our several changes to our uniform. It was decided by someone that rangers needed hats as part of the uniform. Berets were the order of the day. This was not received with much enthusiasm by the majority; however, berets it was to be. Eventually we all received one and the Chief Ranger decided a staff photo was appropriate. This was taken in front of Park H.Q. with all assembled in full dress uniform with berets, some on the front of the head, some on the back and some perched on top.
