DescriptionThe Original building designed by Christchurch architect Paul Pascoe and built in 1961. Several alterations were made over the years. Notably in 1978 when the building was extended to provide more exhibit space and in 2008 when a $6 million upgrade was made in conjunction with major landscape and pedestrian circulation.
